Valérie Stammet is a soprano from Luxembourg, based in the Netherlands. She began her musical journey at the Esch-sur-Alzette Conservatory, where she earned degrees in voice, cello, piano, chamber music, and choral conducting, among others. Between 2013 and 2021, she had voice lessons from Mariette Kemmer, Arthur Stammet, and Claudia Moulin at the same conservatory.
In 2017, she started her vocal studies at the Maastricht Conservatory of Music in the class of Yvonne Schiffelers, earning her Bachelor's degree in 2021 and her Master’s degree in 2024.
As a singer, she has already made several appearances as a soloist, including concerts with the vocal ensemble of the Conservatory of Esch-sur-Alzette and with the vocal group "Arthur's Round." During 2020 and 2021, Valérie performed several times as a soloist in the dance and theater piece "Ecological Anxiety Disorder" by cie Eddi van Tsui in Luxembourg. Since April 2023, she has participated regularly in several projects with the Limburg-based chamber choir, Studium Chorale.
Her recent highlights include the portrayal of Lory in the revival of the Luxembourgish operetta “An der Schwemm” by Lou Koster in January 2024 and several performances as the soprano soloist in J.S. Bach's Johannes-Passion with the Utrecht Studenten Koor en Orkest in March and April 2024.
